Trek to Gorakhgad were simply awesome, four 180 Degree Climb, It was best of the Adventurous so far I have done,

etting stuck at 4.30 AM in the morning due to Powerful wind, Holding on to the rocks for the fear of slipping down, Leaving Waterbottles and other stuff to ensure one can climb down. All this while ensuring that one is able to reach the peak, Pls visit http://picasaweb.google.com/patavinash/GorakhGad# for snaps.

Just back from small trek from Korai gad also known as chota Raigad.
Its a damn beautiful place considering accessibility, sites to watch out for, 2 beautiful lakes etc. A must for one day in the rainy season. I would rate it as easy, Even families can go. There is ample facility for staying as there are 2 temples and water as well. Watch out this space for snaps

A few years ago I had the privilege of listening Jim Whittaker, the first American to climb Mount Everest. During lunch he was asked what had given him the most fulfillment as a mountain climber. His answer surprised me.

?I have helped more people get to the top of Mount Everest than any other person,? he replied.
?Taking people to the top who could never get there without my assistance is my greatest accomplishment.?
